Snapshot of Pakistan Flood Emergency Build a Home

The unprecedented floods that struck Pakistan in August 2022 have caused immense suffering, with all four provinces affected and millions of people losing their homes. The floods have resulted in either complete or partial damage to 2.2 million homes across the country, a staggering number. The most vulnerable and poorest families have been hit the hardest, as they struggle to afford basic necessities and are left homeless. For children and women, living in tents is especially difficult.

Since the beginning of the floods, WF-AID has been working tirelessly to provide aid and support. Now in its second phase, the “Build a Home” campaign aims to move flood victims from temporary shelters to permanent residential homes. The need for assistance has never been greater, and every effort counts..

Thanks to generous donations, WF-AID has started the construction of homes, and the organization remains committed to helping those in need. We must continue to lend our support and come together as a community to provide relief and aid to those affected by this tragedy.
