Salaam Alaykum,
I hope this message finds you in good health. Today, during this period of Arba’een, it is an incredible time to connect with Imam Husayn (a), his incredible mission and his companions’ incomparable sacrifices. The youngest of them all, Baby Ali Asghar (a), is remembered throughout the world for his plight and heartbreaking thirst in the desert.
Our mission for the Ali Asghar Water Appeal is a dedicated effort to provide clean and safe drinking water to communities across the world. This initiative goes beyond merely meeting a fundamental need; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the enduring legacy of the family of Ahl al-Bayt (a) and their sacrifices in Karbala.
Since the launch of the Ali Asghar Water Appeal Campaign, our global community has responded with incredible generosity. Your contributions have allowed us to secure vital funding and initiate several impactful projects.
Yet, the demand for clean and safe water persists on a vast scale, surpassing what we’ve achieved thus far. On this day of Arba’een, let us pause to reflect on the hardships endured by our Ahl al-Bayt (a), including their tragic thirst and the heartbreaking loss of the six-month-old infant, Hadhrat Ali Asghar (a). This reflection inspires us to redouble our efforts.
This is a testament to the fact that water is an essential lifeline, impacting education, employment, and the overall well-being of women, children, and families worldwide.
We invite you to join us in making a profound difference. Together, we can ensure that clean water reaches those who need it most. By doing so, we not only address a pressing need but also pay homage to the memory of Hadhrat Ali Asghar (a) and the noble cause he represents.
Whether you choose to support the appeal or sponsor a specific project on https://wfaid.org/aawa-2023/, your involvement is crucial. To make a donation to the appeal, you can do so easily by visiting: https://donate.wf/aawa.
Thank you for considering our cause and for your unwavering support.
Salaams and Duas,

Arifali Hirji
