There are an estimated 150 million orphans in the world, according to UNICEF, due to the loss of one or both parents and also due to war, natural disaster, poverty, disease, etc. These numbers are only accounted for those that are in an orphanage. There are thousands others who are not accounted for.
We believe every young child should have access to food, healthcare, education, shelter, and emotional support. However, there are many children in communities around the world who do not even have these basic necessities.
WF-AID aim to reach out to orphans with basic necessities and help them have a close to normal life.
