This year, WF-AID, in partnership with trusted teams on the ground, will again be organising Qurbani Hajj services for Eid al-Adha 2025.

Qurbani is a sacred and profound tradition observed during Eid al-Adha, commemorating the spirit of sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his unwavering devotion to Allah (SWT). This act of offering an animal in sacrifice is not merely symbolic but an opportunity to embody gratitude, obedience, and compassion.

The meat from the sacrifice is shared among family, friends, and most importantly, those in need, spreading joy and sustenance far and wide during one of the most significant times in the Islamic calendar.

Your generous contributions to WF-AID’s Qurbani Hajj appeal will directly support disadvantaged communities across Africa. One Qurbani is just $40 USD / £35 GBP.

2024

A total of 1,301 Qurbani sacrifices were carried out for Hajj 2024. The meat was distributed to various centres, families, and orphanages, reaching those most in need and benefitting numerous individuals across multiple regions.

2025

600 Qurbani sacrifices have been completed for Hajj 2025.
